 I am thrilled to share my zeal for empowering growth and inspiring achievement through instructional design.  As an Instructional Designer and higher education professional, I've observed the landscape of education in continual evolution.  The profiles of learners are becoming increasingly diverse. The shift from teaching traditional 18-year-olds to a more varied group of individuals, including empty nesters, combat veterans, single parents, Baby Boomers, and Gen X-ers, offers a unique opportunity to understand the different motivations that drive adult learners.

 During my tenure in education, I recognize that the value of learning for adults extends beyond just financial gains. While increasing income can be a motivating factor, adult learners are often driven by intrinsic motivations that align with their personal goals and aspirations. Some may be seeking to step into leadership roles, while others are motivated to expand their knowledge of new and emerging technologies. And some simply crave the excitement and fulfillment of trying something new!

 In a new transition, I have become an aviation professional with a unique background in higher education and curriculum development. With a passion for learning and a desire for adventure, I successfully transitioned from the world of academia into the dynamic field of aviation.

 Utilizing my experience in curriculum development and instructional design, I recognized the value of applying my expertise to the aviation industry. With a keen eye for innovation and a drive to make a lasting impact, I embarked on a journey to revolutionize inflight training for Flight Attendants and instructors.

 I've utilized comprehensive modules and incorporated interactive elements, realistic scenarios, and multimedia components to provide an engaging and immersive learning experience. By addressing topics such as emergency procedures, passenger safety, customer service, and cultural sensitivity, my approach to e-learning is designed to assist clients such as Flight Attendants in developing skills to be well-prepared to handle any situation that may arise while in flight.
